UPCOMING SHOWS
We started in Ron's house in November of 2001, in his dining room with the 4 original members, Brent, Rich, Ron and Werner. We started learning some songs and liked what we were hearing, so things continued and we played in front of a live audience for the first time in Werner's garage in May of 2002. People liked what they heard so we pushed on, bought a new PA system and proceeded to put ourselves in debt. We now had monthly payments to make and not wanting to pay out of pocket for the new gear, we took any gigs we could get to avoid repossession. We played benefits, dive bars where by the last set there was only 2 people left and they were in the bag. We did manage to recruit their help to carry our equipment out though. We played a wedding where the Bride and Groom's first dance was slow blues in "A". We played at an Elk's Lodge with our friend Craig Fisher of the Hotline Band on keyboards. We wouldn't say the crowd was old but the smells of Ben Gay and Jean Nate filled the air. Our wireless transmitters were wreaking havoc with the pacemakers in the crowd. We liked our sound with a keyboard so we convinced Craig to play a few more gigs with us. We liked the horizons offered to us with a keyboardist, so Werner called Phil Martin who he had played with in the past. Phil joined the band in April of 2003.

We started getting better gigs such as playing at the historic Little Bear Saloon in Evergreen Colorado. We also played a couple of outdoor festivals and played some nice gigs such as private parties and weddings and better club venues. We bought a trailer to lug our stuff and started renting a studio space to practice in that used to be a recording studio owned by the original drummer of the band "Chicago", Danny Seraphine. We are now a steady working band with a great fan base here in Evergreen, Colorado, who without our fans we would be just another garage band and to them we say "Thank You" for your constant support.

Fast forward to 2007 and many great things have happened to the band. Our niche has turned out to be high energy, dance music, such as funk, some Mo Town and other great Rock songs that get people out of their chairs and onto the dance floor. Phil Martin, our keyboardist for many years, decided to tour the world on his sailboat. We got very lucky and were able to replace him with Ed Riley, another brilliant keyboardist form the Evergreen pocket of great musicians. Phil and Ed worked hand in hand to get Ed up to speed on our growing catalogue of songs. And in Pueblo on June 26th, 2007, Ed played his first gig with us and we rocked the house at a convention of professional transportation folks throughout the State of Colorado. Ed's been a great addition, new energy, new chops and some great ideas to add to the BooDaddy sound.

We have played everything from the opening ceremonies for the Cheyenne Frontier days, in Downtown Denver the last two years, to outdoor festivals at the lake in Evergreen, to many, many private parties and events. Our focus continues to be a premier dance band that people are glad they hired or came out to see. Folks have danced to our originals and the ever changing song list we keep introducing to the crowds. We continue to call the Little Bear in Evergreen our home away from home. We play there at lease 3 times a quarter, and love the response we get when we pack the dance floor. We have played the historic Buffalo Rose in Golden and the well established Chatfield's Escape in Englewood and other clubs in between. We are going as far west as Summit County and as far east as Aurora.

Now that we have been together for over 5 years we feel that the best is yet to come for us and our fans. We also need to give the biggest thanks to our families who without their patience, understanding and support none of this would be possible. For this we give them our love and gratitude.

So continue to check back here at our website, or sign up for our newsletter so you will know when we might be playing at a club near you. See you at the next gig.

Keep on Rockin,
Brent, Rich, Ron, Werner, and Ed
