Werner Schlichter
Bass Guitar and Vocals
Werner Schlichter is the Bass guitarist for the band, who is an
Electrician by day and Rocker by night. He is married to his wife Joy and
has two teenage children, son Bryan and daughter Ali. They live in Evergreen Colorado a beautiful mountain suburb of Denver. Werner and Joy have been married since 1984 and have resided in Evergreen since 1981.

Werner was born and raised in Queens NY in 1960 and lived there until he was 20 years old. Growing up in New York City exposed him to alot of things (some good, some bad) but one of those things was music. He got his first bass guitar at age 14 and never left the basement. Werner played in some bands as a teen, but many never made it out of the basement. After moving out to Colorado he did not pick up a guitar until he met Rich in Dumont Co. where they happened to be neighbors. Some late nights together with their friend Jack Daniels produced the beginning of something special that materialized in November of 2001, "The Beginning". Werner was the original bass player for the Hotline band, who are another popular Evergreen band, but having his own business and two babies at the time prevented him to continue. He really started playing again seriously in 1996 and has been ever since. The band formed in 2001 and have been rocking ever since. His musical influences are Jeff Beck, Yes, Led Zeppelin and all that the Motown label had to offer. He gives much love to his family who's support and nights alone have allowed him to do something he loves; play music and be part of something special known as "BooDaddy". Peace to all.
